Love live in San Antonio 1970
A long time ago I sent Torben a copy of my ticket stub and the newspaper ads for the concert I saw when Love opened for Frank Zappa in San Antonio in 1970. I also taped the show so if anyone has that bootleg it is my recording. I finally found a photo from that show. It turns out the photographer is a cousin of a friend of mine here in Ft. Worth. He told me his camera malfunctioned so this was the only shot of Arthur he was able to take that night.

Hi guys!
Just to be clear, the photo was taken at the Municipal Auditorium, 100 Auditorium Circle, San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, June 12, 1970. Also on the bill: Frank Zappa, and Touch Stone. The show was promoted by “KTSA & Peoples Concerts Presents”.
By then the lineup of the band was: Arthur Lee, Frank Fayad, Gary Rowles and George Suranovich.
