The picture you posted on April 6 from Diane Lee-Snoopy?

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

Do you think that might be Snoopy on drums in the background, wearing one of the short-sleeved shirts that Bryan would give him grief for wearing?

Absolutely. That is Snoop in one of his vests he wore often. Seems like he always wore vests. Everyone had to have an image!

Snoop's was a vest and beads. Arthur, those hippie glasses and boots. Bryan, those tight pants and strawberry blond long hair. Echols that double neck guitar. And Kenny, the quiet one.

The shirt on the first album cover may be the one. It's hard to tell the color by the old photo from Diane. Plus I added a bluish tint when I photoshopped it.

Live on Dick Clark...different shirt but another vest

I don't think it would be Conka...I've never seen any pix though...at least not with Grass Roots/Love.
