The Doors and Paris

I just joined this group. I don't know how I became interested in the Doors again except that I was planning a trip to Paris next year and places to
visit of course the cemetery came up, is Jim the most famous resident there? That got me interested in the Doors music, I had a couple of their songs,
but soon started buying those songs that I had never heard of, Wish I had bought albums, but I didn't think I would be interested in all the songs!
So that was July until now. I can't listen to anyone else! This forum should be interesting, just looked at some of the topics and yes I can see where
one wouldn't want to talk about how Jim died, I also read that January 4th will be the Doors Day in Los Angeles! Would sure like some recommendations for
good books and videos. So far I have only read one book and didn't like it. Most everything the Doors is all new to me!

Be sure to check out the doors london fog that was just released, its their earliest recording so far ,1966 , even before they recoded their debut album. Its like the beatles at the cavern club.

Welcome to the board and thanks for your story on when you got into the Doors. The search button is your best friend.

Too bad Doors day in L.A. is on a Wednesday. I won't be attending. Hope there's some youtube vids on this.

Wow, you answered my question months before I asked it. I did do a search for biographies on Jim and it didn't turn up anything.
Anyway, thanks I will check these out!!
