Did Love ever play on the same bill as Grateful Dead

Does anyone know? If Love played on the same bill as Grateful Dead, then "Bear" may have recorded Love. See this thread. It would be cool if a vintage live recording of Love surfaces.

Sony/Legacy is issuing the first in a series of CDs called "Bear's Sonic Journals." The first live recording in the series is Janis Joplin at the Carousel 1968.

Yes, they played on the same bill at the Fillmore on 7/3/66, and at Winterland on 3/3/67.

The Janis Joplin set has been for years, & is finally getting that official release.
