Good to know regarding the blood level constriction....I was not aware of that. I just always saw it safer than the shit doctors try to shove down your throat for lack of sleep (benzo's and the such). To make a long story short....I have just started trying the melatonin again so I hope to stick with that for a while. What do you consider a low dose?BrysonK wrote:Benadryl is an anti inflammatory..moreso for allergies.. I'd suggest a low dose of Melatonin mixed with a bit of ibuprofen. Aside from dehydration from binge drinking (ie hangover), the constriction of blood vessels is the next thing that will make you feel shitty after a day of drinking.
Personally, some Chronic & H20 the night before, and a beer in the morning, works wonders
But I will agree, hair of the dog is the absolute best remedy out there. I know the Holloway has refrigerators....but in the extreme raggity motels, a cooler is a must. Oh-- and greasy ass food of course.
Second--- raw eggs Misty?? lol
I will let you try that out and tell me how it goes (if you can keep it down that is)
Oh and I was forced to smile in my passport picture.....it looks like shit though. Why dont they let you smile in yours?
Third--pretty eyes violentblossom!! I am a huge fan of black eyeliner

We are not allowed to smile at pasport foto's anymore because some kind of computer check. There is a lot of criminal activities in fake passports and they try to fight it that way. Even the contrast on a passport photo has to be 100% perfect otherwise they will not accept it.
It's like you are making a photo for your card waiting to go to death row.
Yes seriously, a raw egg just shove it down. I only saw men do it.
They also just go out side, stick their finger in their throat and throw up, and go back indoors again and start all over.
A long shower, good breakfast works fine for me. Most of the times.

And I still cant fathom the raw egg, what exactly is in the egg that helps a hangover?
Now the finger in the throat.......get it out...and keep going...I have done that many times, not so much now as I did when I was younger. But occasionally I will. I live very close to the border of Mexico and Clamato drinks are very popular here. They taste good, and one night after drinking 9+ i was informed that there was clam juice in them. I (from the midwest) always thought a clamato was a type of tomato.....wrong!!!
I had to make myself get rid off all of that mess once that info was passed over to me......blech

Oh dearie, how am I going to explain in English.
Alcohol has an effect on your kidney's and causes hydration. Wich are a few of the reasons for a hangover. A raw egg destroys those symptoms as it cleans out your body faster.
I hope this makes sense a little. It is hard explainging something like this in a different langauge.
There are different morning drinks to make with a raw egg in it and from my understanding a lot of people swear it works wonders.
But that can also just be the placebo effect.
I have no intention of trying.
You live close to the border of Mexico Lauren? Must be so beautiful there.
Would you like to post photo's of the area in the show your world, your favorite places thread? I would love to see what the area looks like.

Well, most of you drink egg nog......but organic, healthy-diet hen eggs are essential...not the egg factory kind.
Here's the scoop on the benefits of raw eggs which would have a super high nutritional value for your B vitamin/nutritionally depleted alcohol drenched system........

So first you can give us your favorite drink recipes......

Yes olive oil seems to be very healthy. But drinking a cup is taking it to far. That is just disgusting.
But I do use it in cooking for sure.
No I can't say I saw picture before of border towns before. I hardly know anything of that area to be honest. It's sad to hear about the poor situation there.
It's impossible to take care of all animals but I know what you mean. It's heartbreaking when you can't save them all. Hard to let go.
Your two Jack russels are happy to have such a loving owner.

Thank you SF. This photo is very special to me. I shot it some weeks ago when I brought my dog to visit my stepdad when he just got released from the hospital after having a heart attack.Silver Forest wrote:He seems so quiet and peaceful in this photo.MistyJm wrote:He is. Sweet dog.
Dogs sense it. It's like you can see the emotion on that cute face.

Its also just kind of like-- i dont know how to explain this very well--- but someone grabs a camera and in a sarcastic tone "myspace pic time" so everyone puts on their cool pose....then resumes business as usual.
and I just sounded like a complete nerd
