DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME;

"Aug 31 diary; I'm sick!"

Dear readers, I have come down with a really terrible throat condition which merited me paying a visit to a Dutch hospital and which the sexiest doctor fixing my right up, thanks sweetheart (wink). But, not only can I not talk, I am still in pain and in much need of sleep. The Rotterdam show was great and because the Singer was in such a great mood, people asked if he was "on anything"? Nothing could be further from the truth. He was righteously ready for Rotterdam. After the show, I shook some hands, signed some autographs, spoke to Ed (the freedom man) and his wife, and my friends from Paris, the Paillet sisters (claire and lise), who drove a ways to not only see the show, but to hang out with me afterwards. I "signed" an apology to all and set off to my hotel room and went right to sleep. Although I am a bit better, I am still in a considerable amount of pain and not really up for the diaries until I get better. Therefore, I am turning them over to That Welsh Wonder, Mel, who wrote up that funny Canterbury diary. She has offered to come to 2 of the last 3 UK shows so in return of a free ticket, she will write the diaries from her perspective. Should be interesting...if we could only get her to put the spliff down, huh? Anyways, Friends, thank you all so much for the support and e-mails and kind and encouraging words and isn't it great to be a LOVE fan, especially these days? And thanks to everyone, old and young, who continue to give us a reason to travel to far off places like Aberdeen, Scotland! Cheers...
