Postcard Written By Danny In 1983

I purchased this in 2005. It was written by Danny in 1983 to someone who was writing a profile of Jim and wrote Danny to ask for his help. It's written on a London Hard Rock Cafe postcard but was postmarked by Danny in L.A. It reads as follows:

Mark,

I'm real sorry I failed to help you with your report on Jim. No excuse 'cept I've been real busy... No, I didn't forget: Jim was a man whose love for life knew no bounds. He literally wrung the life out of life itself.... Everything was an experiment for Jim. He always wanted to see " How it would feel," LSD, Booze , etc. He wasn't using these to escape, he was on a search... The cost of his experiments? His life. He was the kindest, most fun-loving , smart, humorous man I ever knew. Good luck Mark,
