Did somebody perhaps copy Vince's posts he made on this board from May 18 till May 20th?
I would be nice to get them back.My providers tells me it is lost, but MAN, were those some interesting stories!

Someone should select "work offline" on their internet browser and go into their history folder and look for any pages from this forum.

Sadly we can't get every post back. Thank bluecow2 for the missing posts. Maybe someone else can check their Internet Explorer HISTORY for more missing posts/threads?

I don't see how it was illegal but it sure was a stupid son of a bitch who did it.

How stupid!!! The Doors manager coming on here and threatening people. Who cares what Vince says. He has a right to say whatever he wants. He's telling his story from his perspective. He was there. Door's fans want to hear it.

Ya know what was funny. Supposedly Ray and Robby wrote that message..just as they did with the 'messsage from the Doors' topic on the LL..mmhmm. On Rockline last week, Robby asked if anyone knew what Vince was up to, he'd like to hear from him. RK thought he was building boats in China.

Yeah, that supposed "message from the doors" thread has all the long-winded trademarks of a Jampool ghost-writing.

What was disappointing was that when Jampool shut down the board sometime ago, instead of deleting posts he found offensive, he deleted ALL discussions and threads going back several years.

Kinda like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. So much collective Doors knowledge and discussion deleted and gone forever...

That has no use, when you register, the lost pages won't come up they aren't saved.

You should search deeper into that site.

Than you have to go to the forum and register.

For the last time (as Ed and others have already explained this), the posts are NOT saved within the Internet Archive. You can't get them or find them by somehow registering "in the past." The posts no longer exist. Time travel is not possible.

The point is if they aren't viewable on one of the archived dates, thanks to an open forum with no registration required at the time, then they are no longer accessible.
I mean, believe me, when this happened the first time, my first attempts were archive.org and Google Cache.
Came up with bupkis.
One guy got some out of his browser cache, and they were posted here.
If they were on there, I and any of the others who tried the same thing would have found it.

OK, well, I am just trying to help. It's odd that this board's posts weren't saved, yet that other one's were and some back to way before 2003 and 2004!

Different board software and settings, it's pretty simple.
