So, how where the Stooges? Do you remember what songs did they play?
Was it enegetic from Iggy's side? Also, was the rest of the band old members, or?

PJ has grown old, as well as Astbury/Duffy (The Cult).

I don't know where to post this so I do it here. Some photo's of the most beautiful place in my town. The only beautiful place I must say. Especially in the summer time when the sun goes down. You can walk for miles or just lay in the sand. Soesterduinen.

Hey this could be a good idea. Maybe Ed and Dan can define kind of a social area for us to post some photos of places in which we live, visit, like, etc.
There's good people here with very different cultures and backgrounds.

Here I am (Tarn Stephanos) standing with Ray Manzarek at the Middle East Club, in Cambridge MA. back in 1993.
It was a historic cobilling:
Michael McClure and Ray Manzarek opening for Arthur Lee. Arthur was booked as 'Love', but he was the only original Love bandmember there that night-in fact I think the band that backed him was called 'Das Damen'-but of course, he played all his Love classics.
Anyway, I arrived early, and found the club empty- save for one person-an older bespectacled man smoking a ciggarette at the bar-It was Ray!
He was very friendly, answered all my questiions, and signed my Golden Scarab cd...

I believe this was the first time since the Doors stint at the Whisky since Ray Manzarek and Arthur Lee shared the same stage- It wasn't a warm reunion though-They weren't very chummy though- Arthur scowled when I asked him about the Doors, and he lamented Electra took all the money Love made for them, and invested it in the Doors-I don't even think Ray and Arthur spoke-Ray didn't stick around to watch Arthur's amazing set of Love classics......
I had hoped to snap a photo of me with Arthur, but by then, i was out of film..

Great to be here....This board is such a breath of fresh air compared to the 'other' Doors board- People here love the Doors, and they know the music cold...Awhile back on the Doors website message board someone posted the question 'Did the Doors ever play 'Backdoor man' in concert'? I couldn't help but laugh- the question should have been when DIDN'T they play Backdoor Man in concert...

I have another picture with Ray I'll try and get up- I had great ones with Robby too, but I loaned those to Bobby Lang, who sadly died- Not sure what became of those photos..

I don't think either actively collect anymore. I see John online on AIM once in a while, but only for a few minutes.

Well, if you ever cross paths with John, tell him i said him i said hi-- He's a good guy. We used to correspond back when people wrote letters to each other, before text messages or emails...-

Me kissing my cat. Isn't she the cutest? I found her six years ago as a tiny kitten outside starved. These days I have to beg for cuddles from her. She's having a thing for the neighbours cat

Well MistyJm, my wife is a voodoo witch who killed all my pets while I'm away. So I hope for you sake, she never will see those pics of your cat.
And I'm not joking...

I even fear for my own life sometimes. (but most of the times that is beacuse I acted stupid. Again).
