Thanks for your interest in signing up to join The Doors: Freedom Man Forum. We're happy to welcome new members and simply ask that you please respect the following rules. There aren't many because we're not interested in restricting what members think or say, but in an effort to keep the peace and maintain a respectful atmosphere, we've developed the following forum rules:
1. Please be respectful of other members at all times. Feel free to argue your point of view with passion, but avoid any personal attacks as they will not be tolerated.
2. Discussions and material posted here are meant for members of this forum ONLY and should never be posted elsewhere without permission from the original poster. Doing so will result in an immediate ban.
3. For the above reason, some sections of this forum are restricted to users with a minimum post requirement. This insures that new members will actively participate in discussions and that we don't have people signing up to steal content. You must have a minimum of 30 posts to be granted access to the following areas in The Other Side section: Audio Recordings and Video Recordings.
4. Please refrain from making too many one-word posts or posting multiple messages in a row in the same thread (there is an "edit" button if you've forgotten to add something). Getting your post numbers up this way will not work. We'll simply increase the number of required posts if necessary. We're looking for substantive discussions and expect members to contribute. Asking a question is a great way to start a thread and get a discussion going.
5. Last but not least, we are getting multiple spam registrations each day that we have to routinely delete. To help make things easier for us, please leave a little note when registering so we know your registration is legit. Try entering something related to The Doors in the profile information section under "Interests" so we don't make the mistake of thinking your registration is a fake one that has to be removed.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and we hope to have you sign up and contribute to the forum. Feel free to say hello in the Take It As It Comes area or dive right in by posting a question or comment in any other section. |
