Advice on re-building a Doors photo album?

I used to have a thick album filled with Doors photos, photos of photos, slides, prints and clippings- All previouly published- Sadly it fell victim to flood damage in the late 90s-

I was thinking of rebuilding my photo collection- i could just print out imnages via jpegs-But I would like to track down slides and 'real' photo prints. The guy who used to score me pictures fell off the grid, so my sourse is gone...
Some of you have massive photos collections- what advice would ypou have?

Best way to make new contacts is through eBay .. but be prepared to spend A LOT of money.

I'm not to picky on getting originals- copies therof will work, but preferably on photo paper....
I bought a slew of Doors photos from a guy, and after awhile I realized he was selling me photos of his photos....

Does Gilles still sell prints of his photos of Jim? He did back in 99'.

He probably does. A lot of photographers have websites now, prices range from $20 to $1500 for prints.

My brother is quite the shutterbug, and through his Apple he has a program where he was able to take all his digital photos of his kids, and have it complied into an actual physical book of photos- not loose pictures, but rather each page being the actual photo....I might do that with all my Doors jpegs-it might look better than printing them out at home and sticking them into my album...
I have a DELL, so i may have to switch to Apple..
